PotD: 1 + 2

Not because I claim to be any sort of photographer, and mostly due to liking challenges, I bring you my photo of the day. I may or may not have a photo for every day of the year...or at least the first week of this year. I really have no idea what sort of photos will come from this, and I don't plan on any sort of rhyme or reason for any of them. For instance, after a long 55 second debate with myself, I chose a SnapChat for photo #1. 

Sums up the day, but not the way you'd think: Shancakes and I returned home from an evening of merriment and mayhem (and a magician!) completely sober. Can't say we planned that. At all. But no matter, that's actually a resolution of mine. 

We grabbed our New Years tradition - McDonalds, and proceeded to spend the day in Arlington doing absolutely nothing. 

So there's # 1. Since this is actually the second day of the year, here's #2:

As a Secret Santa gift, I got - surprise surprise! - a One Direction calendar. Unfortunately, June and July have the exact same picture of these flawless young gentlemen. Other than that its beautiful, and this photo of Harry Styles has been staring down everyone who walks by my desk at work. Today's the day I brought it home. My dad thoroughly enjoyed it.
