For my friend Brooke's birthday, a bunch of her friends were asked to write a little blurb about our friendship with her. Since she is a BFF4L, thought I'd share it here. She'll never see this here, so its all good. Maybe every once in a while I'll write little diddys about some people who are fantastic:

Brooke has been my SCHMEE since second semester freshman year. What is a SCHMEE? Other than a Sigma Chi Eta Mu Epsilon Epsilon, it is a person who loves to ride scooters around campus, make music videos, climb trees, and yell at people while hiding on the top floor of East AJ. Its basically a person who likes to laugh a ton and be goofy and gives about 0 ferks what anyone else thinks. Brooke is the essence of SCHMEE-ism.
One day both of us got invited to PIKE formals. How we got invited, we'll never know, because we were grade A NOOBS! We got little lunch box coolers instead of the big ones, painted them with cheesy and sort of racist Mexican drinking puns, and probably got our dates 4 beers and a 4Loko. Such was life. Even so, we were giddy as can be to be off to our first fraternity formals.
This is where we let Seta and Caleb see our true colors. We dumped shaving cream all over a sleeping child, scurried around the hotel like we were on crack (we were not! We were quite literally high on life. And definitely drunk too), and debated what snuggling was. (We decided that snuggling was passionate cuddling). We decided that my date walked like a duck, and proceeded to make up a little song and dance about his duck waddling ways. When my date woke up from a black out nap, he called us and found out we were downstairs getting dinner. We asked what he wanted and he shouted "Just gimme a hot dog!" This sent us into fits and fits of giggles. Poor Seta, there wasn't a hot dog to be found.
There were jumping pix, rules not followed (WE DIDNT KNOW THE RULES, WE THOUGHT OUR DATES JUST WANTED TO BE FRIENDS) and were generally having the best innocent fun. This weekend led into the summer, where we had another weekend of solid drinking at the beach, this time with a group of my guy friends from camp. There is no other way to describe it than "nutty".
Basically, Brooke is one of the most fun people I've ever met. Beyond that, she is caring and genuine and a delight to be around. Our Schmee-ventures will live in infamy. I've never met someone who likes to kayak AND drink all in the same day. It is a wonderful combination.
Hope your 23rd year is as joyous and Schmee-tastic as the last years have been. Can't wait until I live in DC and we can schmee it up and take the bars and the boys by storm. They will literally not know what hit them. No one who has not experienced the way of the Schmee has truly lived.

Cute lil picnik pic we made freshman year. AWWWWWW
