So the Nats might've lost in the most soul crushing, heart wrenching way, but now I can look back and see what I realized about that night and the moments after:
-There is good in the world. My coworkers might be Phillies fans and we might've argued all semester, but when I saw them on Sunday/Monday, they had nothing but nice things to say and shared with me their feelings of regret. I even got an "I was rooting for them" out of one of them, which I have to admit was very sweet.
-There is also bad in the world. Some people are complete jerks. Who texts me at 3 am saying rude things about how this support I'm getting (I got a ton of texts from people saying they were sorry haha) won't happen forever? Jealous that your Red Sox didn't even make it to the playoffs brah? But anyway, what was said was completely unnecessary. What are you trying to accomplish? And what if I was asleep, I would've woken up to that? Get outta here.
Anyway, I'm finishing up my logo, working on about 3 freelance projects all at once, organizing a dodgeball team and interviewing for jobs. Last night my soccer team won the Advanced Girls division in soccer, we got a Champion shirt! Oh yeah I went to Vegas a few weekends ago for a conference, that was sweet. Vegas is a crazy place, I can't wait to go back.
