A few quick things:
-Finished up with openbox9. My second to last week we had an open house where we invited lots of friends of the company and family to see the new digs. It was definitely one of the most fun days there; everyone has great families and there was the world's cuddliest baby there…heavenly. I'll miss those people more I can express, they're great. Hopefully I see them again some day.
in preparation for the party/just getting the office ready, we painted the front door a bright orange (the unofficial color of ob9 and I applied all these decals all over the house.

We had a paper demo (dunder mifflin came to us!) and the sales rep left behind this awesome picture of GDub. We had lots of cardboard and this big frame, so I went to town making this piece, that still hangs above the fireplace! woooo
-One of my last projects was to create an energy saving website checklist type competition website for the Super Bowl. My boss did a mock up and so did I…and the NFL picked mine! So pretty soon my design will be linked off the main NFL site and the Super Bowl sub site. Its kinda exciting, can't wait until it launches.
-July 4 my mom came rushing into the kitchen exclaiming that she needed Photoshop help. She needed to make a picture of the Supreme Court look like it had water splashed all over it (she's a designer for the Washington Post), and she was having issues. So that's where I came in. I took pictures of the water outside on the deck and merged it with a picture of the SCOTUS and BAM 2 days later it was on C2 of the Style Section with my byline! That was sweet as well. Good two weeks for me…

-…except for last Saturday, I unknowingly got poison ivy. I haven't been to hell but all I can imagine is that it somehow involved poison ivy all over your legs (missed the face…that happened to me in high school). My left leg has swelled up to a size similar to when I sprain it (which is often) and both legs look like they've been attacked by a wolverine. Its really and truly disgusting. Friday night Emily and Shannon went with me to an urgent care clinic because it was just getting out of control. So now I'm on prednisone for the 2nd time in a year. Yay…and sorry for the visuals, hope no one was eating.
-Tomorrow starts summer 2012 #2. I found out all the classes I'm teaching: graphic design, filmmaking, and…cartoon creation? Da ferk? Gonna be fun, when we walked in to orientation they were playing One Direction…we had to tell each other 2 random facts about each other and the program director said "I'm a boy band addict. NSYNC, BSB, One Direction…I'm probably the biggest fan you'll ever meet." I'm sitting there looking at her like "oh really…mmhmm TRY ME".
Lots has happened, lots will happen, its been all in all a great summer.
